Greetings Everyone,

Around a year ago, we ended the Infinity series of Skyblock servers with the release of Skyblock Theta. Since then, Skyblock has seen tremendous growth across the board, with it hitting over 750 players this past weekend. One thing that became obvious to us as time went by, however, was the struggle of dealing with an un-resettable server. When Infinity first released, we promised that it wouldn’t be reset, and I’m going to keep my word on that. The problem with that, however, was that optimizing the server became insanely difficult, and we were unable to add certain features to Infinity, as they would require a complete reset for the changes to apply. As a solution to this, we came up with a new version of Skyblock that would solve all of these problems, which we called Skyblock Chaos.

With the huge success of Factions Ice which is our largest Faction server yet (peaking over 340+ players at some points). We feel confident in our ability to continue to make these and push them to new heights. So with Mystic, we've decided to change how we handle these servers. Mystic will be the new permanent name of the current Factions server and will remain so. We'll be using map numbers instead for resets to keep a track of them. Therefore this is the first map of Factions Mystic.

We plan to launch extra Factions servers as time goes on with different rule sets for cannons, economy types, and pvp mechanics (So removing mcMMO and weakening custom enchantments for a raw vanilla pvp'ing experience for example). Anything is possible now....
