Survival Season 5
Hello everyone!
We're excited to reveal Survival Season 5, bringing a major refresh to the MineSuperior Survival experience.
This season updates Survival to 1.21.11 while introducing new features, reworking several existing systems, and bring back some familiar elements that the long-standing members of the community will remember.
From Custom Enchants and a completely redesigned spawner system to the return of custom world generation and an original Survival spawn, there will be plenty to discover when the new season begins.
Survival Season 5 will officially launch on Saturday, 20 June 2026 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time. Before the reset, the End of the World event will begin on Friday, 19 June 2026 at 7:00 PM Eastern Time.
A full breakdown of the additions and changes coming with Survival Season 5 can be found below.
Updated to Minecraft 1.21.11
Survival has official been updated to 1.21.11, allowing the server to take advantage of the blocks and features available in the version.
New 1.21.11 blocks has been added to /shop, making them more easily accessible throughout the season.
Custom Enchants
Custom Enchants have been introduced to Survival Season 5.
These enchants provide an additional layer of progression beyond standard minecraft enchantments and give players more opportunities to develop and improve their equipments. You can find these in a variety of locations such as in crates, Pinata Party and Drop Party.
Brand-New Spawner System
We heard the community concerns with the current spawner system so for Survival season 5 the spawner system has been completely reworked.
Rather than immediately purchasing every available spawner, players must first kill mobs and collect their corresponding spawn eggs. These eggs are then used to unlock access to each type of spawner.
Once a spawner has been unlocked, individual spawners can be purchased using in-game balance.
This creates a more progression-focused system where access to different spawners must be earned through gameplay before they can become part of a player’s economy.
You will be able to find these at the Engineer formerly known as the Mechanist

AFK Zone
A dedicated AFK Zone has been added to Survival.
Players can visit the area when they need to step away from active gameplay while remaining connected to the server. You can earn rewards by standing in the zone! To get here you can go to /warp afk

Parkour
Survival Season 5 introduces a new parkour activity for players to complete.
Whether you are taking a break from building, exploring, or progressing through the economy, the parkour provides another activity to experience on the server.
Live Survival Map
A live map has been introduced for the Survival server.
The map will allow players to view the Overworld outside of the game and will only cover the main Overworld.
Tutorial Area
A new tutorial area has been created to help players understand Survival’s important features and systems.
This area will provide a clearer introduction to the server, particularly for players joining MineSuperior Survival for the first time.

Pinata Party & Drop Party Rewards Reworked
The rewards available through both Pinata Parties and Drop Parties have been completely refreshed for Survival Season 5, bringing their reward pools in line with the new season’s progression, economy, and content.
Quest System Reworked
The Quest System has been reworked for Survival Season 5.
The updated system provides players with a refreshed selection of objectives to complete as they progress through the season.
Introducing The Furnisher
Left Twit has been renamed to The Furnisher.
The Furnisher will continue to provide players with access to rotating content under its new name.

The Return of an Original Spawn
For Survival Season 5, we have brought back an original MineSuperior Survival spawn.
Some of our long-standing players may recognise this location from an earlier era of the server. Its return gives Season 5 a familiar starting point while the gameplay systems surrounding it receive a major refresh.

Custom World Generation Returns
Custom world generation is making its return to MineSuperior Survival.
The reappearance of custom generation will give the Survival world a more distinctive environment for players to explore, build within, and call home throughout the season.

A New Battlepass
A brand-new Battlepass will be available during Survival Season 5.
Players will be able to progress through the new Battlepass alongside the other systems and content available throughout the season.
Final Remarks
Survival Season 5 combines new content with the return of features and locations that helped shape previous eras of MineSuperior Survival.
With the server updated to Minecraft 1.21.11, a brand-new spawner progression system, Custom Enchants, refreshed rewards, custom world generation, and the return of an original spawn, this season represents a major new chapter for Survival.
We would like to thank everyone who has continued to support MineSuperior and our Survival community.
